Our ethos

Edible Idyll interior design breathes new energy into your home and living environment. With a focus on creating uniquely individual spaces, no two interior design concepts are ever the same.

With your needs and desires at the forefront of our mind, we bring together an eclectic mix of colour, light and texture to create harmonious spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.  The highest quality of workmanship is coupled with the sensitive use of bespoke furnishings, each one taking its rightful place as part of an elevated composition.

If you wish for existing possessions to be incorporated into the scheme, we can do this in such a way that fluidity of design is not lost, harmoniously blending historic pieces with contemporary purchases.

Your project

Every design has a purpose, being carefully curated to reflect your individuality, needs and desires.  Equally, we pay as much attention to the character of the environment whilst being sympathetic to the fabric of the building.

We pride ourselves on listening to you and putting your needs first. If you are finding it difficult to articulate your desires, we will take the time to understand your aspirations, translating this into a finished interior design project enriched with artisan concepts.

Edible Idyll’s offering is as flexible as it is broad, enabling us to work on any size of project, from a simple redesign through to a total interior transformation.

Conceived by Bryony Richardson, Edible Idyll strives to create homes and interiors that look good enough to eat.

Before relocating to Jersey in 2016, Bryony spent over 15 years involved in various interior design projects, including the entire fit-out of a rural ‘destination’ farm and homeware shop, post-production TV houses in Soho, London, as well as high-end residential developments in the capital. She also assisted the apparel and lifestyle retailer Anthropologie during its successful penetration of the UK market as part of its overseas expansion from its native US shores.

Bryony gained her interior design accreditation at KLC School of Design, London.
